Harry L. Kindorf, the founder of the Kindorf Company in 1938, invented and patented the "cinch clamp" in 1973. In 1996, son of founder - Harry L. Kindorf, Harry D. Kindorf established the Harry D. Kindorf Company. In 2008, Harry R. Kindorf and Robert D. Kindorf formed Kindorf Enterprises Inc., manufacturing cinch clamps and accessories.
